Authentication is used for membership state and optional cloud capabilities. Local knowledge remains local unless a separate feature explicitly transfers data.

Semantic retrieval is optional
Full-text search remains available when the local semantic model is unavailable or still downloading.

Use reproducible steps, app version, platform, and a sanitized error message.
